Can anyone confirm the location of this sensor on the N20 engine please. I've seen something on the N54 (I think), engine showing it on the end of the inlet manifold, is it the same for the N20? It looks like a simple unscrew/unplug item. I've found one on ebay for £35, better than BM's 97 quid.
I've just had the timing and oil pump drive chains done plus a couple of other minor error codes and this is the only code left to sort. I'm told by my local non dealer specialist that it's to do with cold starting in winter, keeps the thermostat closed longer, or something and that it won't affect normal performance, does that sound right? Seems to be a simple DIY job and would like to get all codes cleared if that's all it is.
Have tried to add photo of the ebay part, but not sure if it has worked, clues on how to add would be appreciated as well, can't see anything in faq's and not sure how the macro above works
