Seen this before - it looks awesome. The website says it's only for industrial use though, not personal :(

If you look at the blurb it reckons it's 'weatherability' is 5 to 7 years. Why would you not have your whole car coated in this stuff, assuming it won't affect the paint and bodywork / colour clarity ? The stuff could be added to polish and wax to provide the two-coat application... Endless possibilities.
 
Wonder what the finish is like... I'd still want shiney! Can't help but wonder why there are no cars in that video - I'd have thought it'd be a popular use and they'd have it in there if it worked well? Car driving through muddy puddles, front half coated, rear half not, or something.
 
Maybe the finish is not good enough to be used on cars yet ? Again, reading the blurb, it does not seem to be completely clear. The real killer application will be being able to combine this with other substances, such as paint, for application.

at the moment, it leaves a white-ish coating, as can be clearly seen on one of the boots when he jumps in mud. from the comments, i gather they're working on a clearcoat version.
