Manufacturing of the Z4

fascinating..

should i be worried they're made in america ?!

Loved how the engine drive train inspector chap found a loose bolt head whilst the camera was on him. jump to it ! Really can't see that being shipped from Germany from like that.

That video is part of a series that is frequently shown on TV on this side of the pond...

Nah! Harleys are made in the US so why should we worry?

Really enjoyed watching the process of building a Zed. Having worked at Ford Halewood many moons ago, it's interesting to see how the health of workers' are considered. Wasn't like that in the late 1960s. I remember having to lift up dozens of prop shafts on the old escort. Not a nice thing to do for 8 hours. Me thinks we have a very special motor.

Loved that.
Basking in the glory of hindsight, I was silently screaming at the workers in my head "STOP, STAAAAAP!! Don't you realise the roof motor is in a stupid place! Stop what you're doing and do something, anything! And oi Mr Quality checker dude, about those rear springs that you're staring intensely at... :? "

I was also thinking christ, look at the phenomenal amount of engineering and manufacturing technology going into this, millions spent in robotics, staff, such care and precision to make the ultimate driving machine...

...and then some douche goes and spoils it all by asking for a walnut dash

Haha awesome video, I'll be watching that a few times over
