Hi Peeps,

Recently joined the forum as I've decided I need a Z4 in my life as a weekend toy.

Currently have a 1995 VW Corrado VR6, which I may sell to fund the Z4.

The Z4 has always been one of fav small coupes, others being the Corrrado and 911.

I was even considering upping my budget and go for a 996 C4S but the all the IMS, Bore scoring issues has put me off.

So my wish list for the Z4 Si Sport, is kinda simple, not fussed on options as long as it doesn't have the wood look trim.
Colour: Stratus/Silver Grey, Any of the Blue's, Other colours as last resort.
Leather: Tasteful colour as long as it contrasts well with the exterior colour.
Mileage: As its gonna be a keeper, ideally sub 65k miles, but understand these are becoming less common so keen to see whats out there
 
Not 100% if I even want to sell yet, its in storage over winter, but will decide when I take it out in the Spring get it on fresh MOT, Service.

Would need to also check what others are going for with the same spec and precautionary work carried out, ie: chains, tensioners, head overhaul, clutch.

But most likely around the £6k mark.

Has anyone on here gone from a VR6 to a 3.0 Si Z4????
 
That's a lovely looking Corrado! Would be a shame to sell it, but to make way for a Z4 coupe would be a worthy upgrade. I was looking into getting a Corrado as a daily, but need something bigger and more practical unfortunately. Best of luck with your search, and hope you don't have to sell the Corrado!
 
Would you consider an auto gearbox?. With the paddle shift and the sport button. A large number of forum members love them. If so I may have the right car for you

I have a Monaco blue Coupe with good mileage and service history that I might consider parting with.

Would you consider a trade ?
