manual 2.2 or 2.5i E85

Hi guys

We're after a manual 2.2 or 2.5i SE E85, as a low to medium usage daily driver. Most cars advertised on here at the moment are 3.0 versions, and autotrader is pretty full of 2.5 Si versions, but we really want a 2.5i at most. And preferably under £5k.

Obviously, the list of would-likes is lengthy as regards spec and history, of course!, but anything other than poverty spec would be considered at the right price. The big must-have is SE suspension, and preferably no more than 17" rims.

So anyone been thinking of getting out of their SE roadster?

I have replied to your post in response to your comment re my prospective purchase of an E89 in the other thread.
However I have just read your observation regarding wheel size. My car has 18 inch wheels and I put new Goodyears on it last year. They have done about 3000 miles and with the SE suspension the ride is fine. I also have the original 17 inch wheels the car came with. They are in excellent condition but the tyres, although legal are not wonderful. In my view they would need replacing but I would be happy to let them go with the car if that is any help.

The two 2.5 cars I've noticed are both auto and the 2.2 is carrying a lot more miles than I'm after. Have I missed one? Please let me know if I have.
