I really hope they are both prosecuted for high treason. But I ain't gonna hold my breath.

Utter arrogant, naive, stupid idiots.

Even if found guilty and sent down for a stretch they’ll be shuffled out the back door at midnight to some cushy place to serve their time, certainly won’t be amongst general crims.

Mind you Mandy might request it, bummed to death…

Off with their heads!🪓
I thought high treason was still a capital crime in the UK. As it turns out, this was changed in 1998 by New Labour. Have a wild guess who was in charge of New Labour (and it wasn't that Blair idiot as a clue). Maybe someone knew it may be useful in the future?

Hopefully they get treated the same as anyone else.

Jeffrey Archer was in Belmarsh during his perjury trial!

Agree Andrew is an arrogant, naive, stupid idiot, he was born into a situation he was never fit for. Mandelson was never stupid he is a level above stupid Andrew in my eyes.

Of course they won't. They can't or the whole of the 'establishment' will fall, including the royal family.

There is only one reason why serving and former MPs are given lucrative jobs with private companies.....and it ain't because of their business sense. It's because of what and who they know.

If Epstein had not had a penchant for young girls none of this would have ever come to light. He would have been just another 'businessman' with influential 'friends'.

One good thing that could come from all this is that Starmer will hopefully be forced out. Although I don't see a credible alternative.#
I bet that Farage is busy trying to get Reform into some kind of credible order.

A rainy Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago and I ended up watching the 1970 film Cromwell with Richard Harris. Towards the end comes his famous 'In the name of God, go' speech. The speech was made to the then parliament (the Rump Parliament), Cromwell saw that its members were legislating to ensure their own survival rather than to serve the will of the people.

"It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonoured by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice. Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government,.... Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not process?"

370 years later I don't see much change!

Can't stand the alleged nonce, but am getting fed up with the press getting a hard-on for any little tidbit involving TAFKAPA (the arsehole formerly known as Prince Andrew).

You don't even see MPs sacked / banned / lives ruined for their fraud/lies/indiscretions, so I doubt there'll be much punishment for sharing a bit of info.

If any MP had been demoted/sacked/stripped of titles the same way as Andy Pandy for similar levels of 'indiscretions' then I don't think we'd currently have any MPs in Parliament.

“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.”

I will be amazed if anything comes of it with both of them. There's has been plenty of time for the right people to visit A and M properties and clear out any evidence, papers and their devices wiped clean before the police appeared on the scene. Why has it taken so long for the police to act and arrest both of them, especially for A after he'd moved out of Royal Lodge.

The last Royal arrested was King Charles 1st in 1646, wouldn't it be ironic if Andrew was charged, so he would be facing crown prosecution headed by King Charles 3rd, there is just no way he will be treated like any commoner and face any sort of imprisonment, as much as we would like to think they would face the full force of the law.

Tim.

Me too. Far too many important and powerful people would be implicated in one form or another. This is just a token gesture to appease the media and public IMO.

I would like to know why none of Andrew's security and royal advisors haven't come forward with anything so far. There will be a lot of people who know exactly what went on with him. He couldn't fart without a hundred people knowing about it.

King Charles III has already been married to two women who are descended from women who were mistresses of Charles II, so I'm sure he will enjoy the historical continuity.

I would imagine any of Andrews security/aids etc are signed up to a gagging order so can't say anything and I would bet any advisors wouldn't be party to anything shady behind the scenes or non the wiser.

I'm sure Bodie, Doyle and Cowley have done their best behind the scenes 😆

Some years ago I was Headteacher of a large rural primary school. The Victorian buildings had a major refurbishment and guess who was invited by the LEA to carry out the reopening? It was at the time when he had been photographed with a big hole in his golf socks. As is customary when these big wigs visit it is customary to present them with a small gift. We presented him with a couple of pairs of new golf socks. He didn’t appear to be best pleased and had a face like a crumpled slipper. His equerry subsequently informed me that he had been irritated and didn’t like the fact we had drawn attention to the incident. So I got something right. Incidentally she was the lady who signed the cheque for £75 for the naked massage publicised in the press recently.
I understand the school has had the plaque recording the visit removed. I wonder why?😩😩😩😩

He probably told his “friend” that he spent the morning window shopping…
