Howdy

Is there anything planned for a Manchester/North West meet? Be great to meet some of you guys.

There's the Tatton Park classic car show in August that's usually really good if the weathers decent.

There's the national meet in July (in the Lake District).

Otherwise there are usually a few ad-hoc meets arranged at last minute going into Wales, the Peak District or Yorkshire Dales.
 
Went to a meet a fortnight ago at the Snake pass inn for BMW's...

Re the Smiths........Seen them a few times years ago...Still the best band to come out of Manchester by a mile!

More a "James " fan myself :wink: Smiths had a few good tunes but the guy himself comes across as a complete tw4t 8)

Seen James too......They were awesome and born of frustration is still in my top 10..

Lakes in July could be a good shout. It's a lovely drive up there!

I'll be at Oulton Park in Little Budworth, Cheshire (near Tarporley) on Monday (bank holiday) watching/supporting friends in the BMW Kumho championship.

I believe there's also a member on here who's competing too.
 
Hmmmm..

I used to frequent the Royal George twice weekly many years ago..... Thats Greenfield aint it ?

Aii the lakes national meet is a must for anyone who can get to it, will be a top weekend!

In terms of north west meets/hoons, i'm based slightly more north and west then most of you, but will go to anything reasonable if i'm about 8)
 
Classic car show tatton park 1/2 June iam going on Sunday also a massive smiths fan awaiting tickets for New Order at jodral bank johnny Marr is the SURPORT act I to lived in chorlton and went to school there now living in Just outside kuntsford any time you fancy a hoon or meet up let me know

ye that's greenfield, just on the boarder of mossley, only a mile from where I am
 
Had a lovely sunny morning at Oulton, followed by a wet & miserable afternoon of rain.

My mate got a 3rd in the 1st race, and a 1st in the 2nd (wet) race (87D) - which I put down to my liberal application of Meguiars QD between the 1st & 2nd race :P

Was also hoping to see/support TommoTwo, but he wasn't there :(
 
I've just moved up to Haslingden so wouldn't mind work permitting getting to a meet although summer time is busy time for me.
