Man, Wednesday is a magic day for a hoon . . .

You'll know we have a little group of us that are lucky enough to be able to get out mid week for a hoon but today was one of those magic days to remember. Just Chezsherman and me today as Mike couldn't make it being busy in the morning.

Just now and again things fall into place, weather, traffic and location and today was one of those days. Craig got in contact and we met at our usual pub car park on the A68 and headed out to Stanhope, Middleton in Teasdale and on to Brough. What brilliant roads these are and we nearly had the place to ourselves. Even with cloud cover 8/10th the views were astounding. After a relaxed lunch and long long chat we headed back and Chezsherman has definitely got used to his new E89 as he led all the way back, reversing our route without a stop, at a cracking pace (smooth and safe). One of the most enjoyable runs I've had in a while - nice one Craig :driving:

Cherrym had suggested we call in for a cuppa when we'd done, so we did but we arrived around 1.30pm (much earlier than usual on one of our runs). Great to catch up though and what a day (done and dusted by the early afternoon :o )
Have lots of photos but here's a few showing some of the roads and Chezsherman's new E89 - it looks very purposeful in black - E89 looks are definitely growing on me
