Oh FFS Nosa, only just seen this thread. That's really sad to see - whoever the little shits are that did this, they need a right swift kick to the baws...

I've got to admit I'm utterly paranoid about leaving my Z4 parked anywhere I don't know. Mine lives in the garage but I'm often out in Glasgow city centre and I'm always nervous when I leave it parked anywhere. This country's screwed though - jealousy is a terrible thing, folk just can accept other folk treating themselves to anything nice.

Hope you get it sorted out with minimal financial impact :(

Nasty.

The paint doesn't look damaged which kinda rules out a screwdriver imo. If you hammered one in THAT hard to do that it'd scrape paint, slip a bit, or go through... it looks like a lot of force but a rather blunt tip to me. It's impossible to say vandal without knowing really. Someone might have dropped something long onto the car?! Who knows...

Anyway, as said, if the panel is a 'write off' no harm in trying to sort it first for much less £££...

As for the boot, same again, but I think that will be harder near the panel edge.

I'd try get em banged out first and go from there. Only step up when you need to or are not happy with the result.

My wife just had some dents removed by a really good dent guy (the Ford garage used the same guy for 7 years or so), and we were amazed at what he achieved with a dent on a swage line and another subtle dent underneath it!

Jeez - that's bad, makes my p1ss boil! :x

Just got my Zed today and know how I would feel if it happened to me. Gutted for you.

I hope you get it sorted - as already mentioned, try one of the "dents out" type of companies, they can work wonders. Will keep my eyes peeled for replacement parts.

All the best

Martin

Hang on a sec my car is a different colour and its garaged

Hope you get it sorted soon. This kind of thing realy p!sses me off having had a car keyed in the past, if i ever see anyone vandalising a car i will probably knock the $h!t out of them (make it look like they fell or something) before calling the cops.

Nosa, I've just emailed my father-in-law: he arranged a dent removal guy he knows to pull a sizeable dent out of the roof of my last car (obviously not a soft top!). Might be worth at least having the dents attempted before you're resigned to shelling out for new panels.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. gutted for you

Little f***ers will probably get a holiday if they ever got caught.

Sorry to hear about your car. I would equally be gutted if that happened to me. Does look more like something fell on it rather than malicious damage though - most people leave paint damage

Hmm Might just give a dent man a go. Not sure they can fix it as the metal is crimped, but there are some favourable comments about them so your right, may as well give them a go.
A11y would you happen to know the name of the company your Father in law used??

My first thought when i saw it was that something could have been dropped on it, But two panels,, Nah. Neither do i think it was Kids.

Nosa, gutted for you mate. Lovely car.

I had something similar on the passenger door, which they got out successfully - the local ChipsAway lot... if you are going to try a paintless dent removal outfit do a Google check and also on here and PH. I was amazed at what they managed with mine.

Good luck :|

It's getting common on any car! Story in a local newspaper the other week!! :x

http://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/8096769.Neighbours_demand_action_against_car_vandals/

Ripping the rear wing off a Suburu and then using it to vandalise other cars!! :o

So sorry to see this. I know how you feel as I've had mine vandalised twice.
I cannot even imagine seeing a nice car in a car park and thinking 'Oh that car is so nice I think I'll go and damage it!' Some people are just complete assholes.

This is why I always/only drive my zed to work. I can see it through the windows at the corridor.

I saw on ebay today someone was selling different types of bmw bonnet...
Worth a try maybe??

Searched ebay today woots, found a z that is breaking, Price of the parts, shipping, respray to correct colour and blending, doesnt work out much cheaper, different story if i could get them in original colour. If you can remeber where you found them could you post the link???
