Malfunction in the driving stability control systems

I went to drive to work this morning and noticed the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Well the handbrake, ABS and traction control lights were on.

I checked the tyre pressures and all were OK so I had a look in the manual which said I had a malfunction in the driving stability control systems. Now this sounds bad to me!

I've got it booked in for 10:00 this morning but wanted to ask you guys to see what it could be. I'm getting nervous about a big bill :(

So they said it's the drivers side front wheel sensor which didn't sound too bad until they said they tested the sensor and it looked to be OK. They suspect the signal isn't getting the control box or when the signal does get to the control box it's not what it should be.

Any way they need to order a sensor to 100% rule that out and trace the wiring to see if that's all OK. Worst part is it can't be booked in until next Wednesday!

the same lights lit up my dash the other night, i thought the worst , drove a few miles , stopped, switch the engine of , got my chippy and drove home, everything was fine . Earlier that day I had power washed the underside of the car , so I have assumed that water was lying somewhere and showed up as a fault.

I've driven it for a fair few miles and its still not cleared. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to be as easy as that :(

Well after a 10 day nervous wait I got it fixed today. It ended up being a corroded cable between the sensor and the module.

Happy days!
