Maldives Blue 2.5i E85 117k miles manual

It's time to leave the UK after almost 9 years living here and therefore I also need to sell my Zed. I wish I could bring it with my but the import tax is hardly worth it and the tax on these cars in Ireland is absolutely ludicrous.

I've owned this car for about 4 years now and it's sitting at 117k miles. I've dailied this since owning it with the exception of about a year where my commute got too long and bought a second car. I now live closer to work and use it daily again. This means mileage might increase slightly.
This is the slightly higher power version with 192 from factory.
I've only added some light cosmetic mods:
18" MV2. These are lovely wheels but do have small scuffs on both front and rear driver side wheels.

The front brace bar visible through the kidney grille, as well as the calipers are painted in a sunburnt orange. This is special high temperature paint and was done professionally shortly after I first bought it.

I've debadged and dechromed the whole car and sprayed all the plastics (including spoiler and grilles) with black plastidip as the plastics were tired and grey looking.

The car has aftermarket headlight units running LED Angel eyes and DRL. I've had these wired to the ignition so they truly function as DRLs. The low beams are H7 LED lights. The H7 bracket is still there but the lights produce a crisp white colour (5K if I remember correctly). The high beams are still halogen as I never got around to replacing them. The interior lights are all LED white.

Ive wrapped the dash and centre console in carbon fibre. The wrap itself is 3M but my lack of skill means that after a few years, it's now showing some areas where the DIY nature is evident. At first glance it still looks good though. Similar to the exterior, I've sprayed most of the silver and anthracite pieces in black, this includes the roll hoop covers. I sanded these back and then sprayed them with plastikote so it's not fading anytime soon.

Roof motor relocated to boot.

In my ownership I've maintained and repaired everything myself. There's a folder full of receipts with it. This includes:

Water pump, coolant flush, coolant reservoir and pulleys replaced @ 107k

I rebuilt the front suspension with bilstein B4 shocks (M sport replacement as this car has M Sport suspension), Meyhle HD drop links and top mounts and Lesjofors coil springs. This was done @ 107k

Vanos rebuilt with the x8r kit @ ~100k

The brake lines and brake fluid flush was done @ 107k

Oil change done less than 1k miles ago

Pre cat O2 sensors @ 113k

The bad points:
It's got a tiny spot on the roof where it got bleached by something

The front bumper could do with some TLC as its scuffed at the very bottom. There's also some age related marks around the car.

It also has a slight oil leak (shocker, I know).

This car will also come with a box full of spares which includes a spare centre console aluminium trim piece, the OEM business radio and various other pieces. It also has a boot organiser with some spare oil, tyre pump, coolant, etc. Since I'm leaving the country, I'll leave this in there too.

The annoying part now is given me leaving but also needing a vehicle. I leave the UK on the 26th of this month. But details can be worked out for pick up etc once someone is interested.

I'm looking for £2200. The car is located in Wantage, Oxfordshire.

Great advert mate

And a keen price too- good luck with sale

Cheers mate. Hate to see it go but just not feasible to bring it with me.
Now if I could fix the stupid indicator issue that's been baffling me I could save myself potentially needing to drop the price!

Sorry to hear you are selling up, hopefully you’ll be able to find another back in Ireland.

Cheers mate! Sad to see it go, and even more sad to leave the somewhat exclusive Maldives Blue club :P

The tax on these is more than €1000 back home so unfortunately unlikely.

Have you not been here long enough that the move back includes cars as part of your household goods?

I'm moving back to then travel the world so I'm not moving back with many possessions.
And regardless, the yearly tax is €1080 so wouldn't be worth it.
