Edit

Near side is condensed!

I’ll get them off and dried let me know if still of interest

Thank you for the update. How confident are you getting it to dry out? I only ask as the reason for wanting replacements are the current ones I have are really condensated / wet we have tried having them dried out but with little success!!

Yeah I’ve done it before so will see how it goes and let you know

Thank you 👍

Hi Stuart, as it's an 04 model would I be right in assuming it is pre-wired for all the options?

If so I'd like the wiring between the fuse box, power-fold mirror control module and door mirrors please. I've already got the power-fold mirrors, switch and control module for a retro-fit!

TIA, Iain.

No worries Iain- can you send me a quick note where these are and I’ll go digging?

E30 325i Touring

Thanks.

Here's a link to a thread on retro-fitting them:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=107929&start=30

The first photo in Zulu4's post at the bottom of Page 3 shows the connector for the control unit which he says it is mounted above and behind the fuse box.

From what I can make out there will be wires from that connector to the fuse box, both mirrors and the switch. I hope that makes sense.

ETA I'll be in Shepshed in August if you fancy a real challenge!

Oh my, I wonder if you have a heated seat loom in there?
Wont yours have one in there anyway because of build date?
My SE coupe has heated M sport seats now, but no seat heating. Honestly, I don’t think I want to go there, but the thought just popped into my head.

The roadster not only has the loom, but actually heated seats as well :D

Hi Bigwinn

I assume the headlights are halogen? If so are they dry inside?

Thank you

All dried out no dramas

Would suggest they need new seals or at least swap L to R and R to L!

See pic- still want?

Unfortunately I'm outside UK so no clue what that means, but You mean you have the right liner but not the left?
Would do it for me! :)
(If its possible to post/package of course).

Near side means nearest the kerb, so Left in the UK. so it looks like you're out of luck.

I cant see a control module near or adjacent to the GM5 though- will look again at Zulu4 thread to see what I am looking for before I call off the search
