Something just doesn't add up though and until the recorders are found we'll never know if this is a hijacking gone bad, taken over sea as an act of heroism from the pilots or intentionally, a technical malfunction that caused them to divert either unwittingly or knowingly but they then passed out before arriving at a landing spot or didn't know where they were heading, or if it is indeed some conspiracy and cover up.. what did the oil rig worker see? Why were there a shedload of reports of low-flying jets etc, things that are disproved if it's found in the indian ocean?
One thing's for sure, it's amazing how many ''normal'' events that would have otherwise been unknown have come to light in this one disappearance. Pilots letting people in to the cabin, use of stolen passports, carriage of ''explosive batteries'', a plane that has previously been in an accident etc etc all surrounding the one plane / flight.
Read that they expect to recover a few pieces by the end of the day today which going by the description sound like an inflatable life raft/escape ramp, which will at least give some comfort in regards to where the victims are..
