Making a 3.0si coupe sound better?

Afternoon all,

What options are there to increase engine noise or better the exhaust note on a relatively low budget - say under £150. I'm aware of the sound generation mod, but this only affects cabin noise.

I'm not looking to increase performance, and I don't want drone whilst cruising.

Any suggestions?
 
Going to have to be an exhaust then i think, but with no drone and a budget of £150 i dont think you are in luck!

You can have the rear backbox removed and straight pipes welded on for around £100 but i think you would struggle with the drone issue.

I would think a budget of double that may see you get a new backbox set up.
 
get the mid box removed for around 100 quid, lots of coupe owners do it , no drone & a fairly straightforward process.

He's done a fair amount of 3.0 exhaust tweaks & his system right now has created a "nascar" noise with no real cabin drone . i was pretty impressed when i had a spin out in it :driving:
 
You need an induction kit, I removed mine as im selling the car but its so quiet now :lol:

Ive also had MM mod my back box so it gets some more pops of lift off etc
