Finally got my car up to my OCD standard - cost me about £280 on top of what I paid for the car ( top money £9k ) but worth it :
£80 to remove all dints
£80 to have rear quarter wing rubbed down and buffed up to match the rest of the car.
£120 to redo the front bumper - when I bought the car it had a minor scrape that the dealer repaired before I collected - from a standing viewpoint looked all right but on closer inspection they only painted what you could see and missed the bits that you would have to lay on the ground and look up to see ( told you I have OCD !!!! )
I finally have a car that is free from any dints , scrapes , wheel kerbs or leather wear with 29k miles and a 3 litre engine !
Even with all this its probably lost £2k in value since I bought it in July but what the heck - it looks spot on !
I've nothing against modding but for me I like to keep a car as near to original as possible so I'll keep the turbines ! There has been suggestions that the Z4 will become a modern classic - whilst its nice to subscribe to this view I cant see this happening to such a massed produced car but I think they always will be sought after because of their looks and performance.
The danger with me is that I'll go down the same road ( good pun ) as my previous toy and not use it - I've only done 250 miles in the past 2 1/2 months but still get a lot of pleasure just looking at it - sad bastard that I am !!

I also have OCD put to help with this I simply bought/built a classic vw golf gti to show standard. Then clean that to an inch of its life. I hope I do`nt start cleaning the Z4 the same way :?

I've done 7000 miles in mine since the MOT in Feb this year, and I have a company car that I do 30k pa in, so it's a weekend toy. I like using my toys, not just looking at them and polishing them. BUT, each to their own,it's your toy so use it as nmuch as you want. I agree that the Z4 will become a classic, there's nothing elselike it and the new Z's are so different.

You're right - whats the point of having such a car and not using it ! what a boring old fart I am going on about how good I feel just looking at it - I'm off out today in the sunshine to do some serious posing and listen to the power !!!!

where did you get this all done?

Im looking for somewhere around birmingham but only want to use somewhere from recommendation, I don't want to leave my car in the hands of someone who im not 100% confident about
