Major decision to make...

How many miles on the car senwar and WHS (what reg?). Also, if bought with the CSL`s, would the original wheels be provided also?

Its a March 2007. IK - will PM you.

Darren - its got 13200 miles on it, FBMWSH and showing 13000ish to Inspection 1. Just the CSL's provided with it or just standard if CSL's not wanted.

TBH mate £24.5k without the CSLs is a fabulous price for a no-hassle sale. As I said on the other thread, prices will never be higher than they are now.

Before the end of the year there will be a load of sub-30k 35i demo cars available, I accept that it isn't a direct competitor but it would be a consideration for someone also thinking about a Z4MC.

Maybe if you keep it the prices will have stabilised and it won't cost you too much in the long run either.

It is a great price for an easy sale. You can understand why though, as looking at AUC prices on the BMW website, it will be for sale at around £28,995 once with BMW, so they still will have £4k in it! :o

But those are the overpriced Hexagon cars you`re looking at above. A March 2007 won`t retail at 29k IMO, I reckon a respectable dealer has 1800-2500k max profit in the car. I think the 24.5k offer is pretty good for a completely hassle free sale

It will be going up at a similar price to the Silver Grey one in the link if I do let it go. I personally think they're up at those prices knowing there's 2k discounts to be had.

As Mike & Darren say - the offer is one that is excellent for such an easy sale. Part of me wishes it wasn't as good to be honest, to make the decision easier!

Good point re: the comparison later in the year too Mike. Something I'd not thought of to be honest.

Exactly how I feel Senwar - I have been offered £18,700 for my 07 Coupe Si, no hassle sale. I wish the offer wasn't so good, or I wouldn't be considering it so much!

IK, how many miles on your car and where is the offer from if you don`t mind me asking? My local dealer is giving me a quote on Monday for my 56 plate with 31k miles. I`ve tried a car buying website and that quoted 17400 which I thought was alittle high!!! My plan is to get another Z

Webuyanycar, by any chance? That's who my offer was from.

Mine is an August 07, 07 plate, with the spec in my sig. It's got 16k on the clock.

Buy mine Darren.

Perfect for ya!

:D

It's a good time to sell. As far as I can tell, prices are high due to a lack of cars for sale, foreign buyers taking premium cars abroad with the weak pound/strong euro and the seasonal summer increase in demand.

I had been thinking of selling for a while as I needed a more practical car and with 2 bikes didn't fancy a another vehicle to tax/insure but most of all wash! :D I advertised my 08 Z4M on Pistonheads for 28.5k with 8k miles, was offered 26k from a private seller but sold to a BMW dealer for 27k. This meant a no hassle sale and to be honest and the best I had been offered earlier this year was 25k. As I only paid late 30's for it new and had enjoyed it a lot I took the opportunity to sell and passed the details onto Paul of the buyer.

I do miss the Z4M and wouldn't have sold if I didn't need 4 seats and a big boot but as I've just agreed to buy an immaculate E39 M5 it helps take the edge off it... :D

BTW, if anybody fancies a titanium Storm Motorworks gearknob for their M let me know ;)

Imagine if you sold it, and then saw it on the road (or any other Z4M for that matter) , how would it make you feel?

My March 07 Z4MR came out at £22k on www.webuyanycar.com

So people have ctually sold to this place and no hassle? Any reduction in the initial offer price when you've actually taken it in?

Just think of the money! 25 juicy grand in your bank account in minutes, one less mill stone round your neck and another greatly reduced one! :poke: :P

Must admit i was sooo tempted to sell mine with the offer i was made, 1k more than i paid for it! :o But have not had enough fun out of it yet to do it. 8)

I don't deny it - will be gutted, and seeing the silver grey one in the M M M thread - its a stunner thats for sure.

However, I've now decided its the right thing to do, and subject to all things being sorted OK (will be next week), I'll be letting it go.

Have come up with a possible alternative for a new motor that I didn't think would be possible thanks to a friend in the trade - so whilst it won't be anywhere near like what I'm letting go, it may be something that makes me smile.

Its been one of the hardest decisions I've had to make - but I've had 27 months of enormous joy out of the car. The deciding factor was that I'd be getting rid in 8 months anyway, and this will (hopefully) be an easy sale.

I looked into it when selling mine but the BMW dealer was more money and less hassle :) I have heard stories that the online website knock you down when you take your car in - could be all wrong though as I haven't been to one of their agents....

The cars are getting good money, may people have finally realised how good they are :)

You're not in the correct mindset to stomache the inspection 1 service bill. Let it go now and pay your mortgage off, by then you'll be able to use the extra money to get a touring caravan and enjoy some lovely weekends away. :poke:

Looks a very nice car and would be very interested but timing isn`t great and looks like ya have to move fast.

As a follow up about selling to BMW - had my quote from BMW and they have offered about 13500 for mine but can`t buy right now due to a larger than wanted stock in old Z4`s. I think "webuyanycar.com" are talking shi*e and I may book an appointment with them just so I can have a go when they drop the figure by a few grand at least. I wouldn`t sell it to BMW at that price (13500).

Don`t really have to sell mine to buy but have no space for two cars, unfortunately i have no time to sell mine at the moment - had a few enquiries but I`m working all over the place and therefore struggling to organise viewings.
