Hello fellow z4 members,
I am a new member and I just bought a Z4 3.0si 2007(used); it has 59k miles when I bought it; now it has 61k miles. My question are: when do I need to flush the brake, and when do I need to do COOLANT FLUSH? Is there a reader in the car that tells me when I need to do this thing at certain miles?

the brakes are supposed to be done every 2years. if like me your not sure when they were last done then prob best to go and get them done. Im not sure it makes a huge difference if its been longer, my car feels like ive thrown an anchor out of the back, but probably best to do them.

dont know about coolant but again if your unsure it isnt such a pain to change it. (dont throw the old stuff down the drain)

Welcome Matrix as domsz4 has said if you're not sure best to get them done and then refresh every 2 years, once again I'm not too certain on the coolant flush but if cant hurt it

Why not say hi in the newbie section with a few pics of your Z :driving:

The coolant on face lifts is for life. BMW do check it at service times but there is nothing in the service schedule to change it.

It used to be every two years at the same time as the brake fluid.

Thanks everyone for your input. I will call the dealership and see what they say also. On the other hand, I will post my newbie info in the newb forum. Thanks!
