Magnet location?

Hi folks can anyone tell me where the Audi and Peugeot magnets are located on a Z4 3.0si Sport please? I'd like to remove them asap. Since I got the car a month ago it seems to attract a lot of people desperate to prove something, usually when you pass them waiting at a junction, next minute they're an inch off your rear bumper and weaving desperately. 9 times out of 10 it's an Audi or a Peugeot. I have an ego about the size of a very small peanut so have absolutely no problem in letting them pass me, as the last time I checked I don't think there was prize money and a trophy for getting to the chippy first, or for shaving 7 seconds off the time it takes to get to B&Q.

Seriously, has anyone else been affected by this phenomenon?

There is only one solution - upgrade to the M. They never mess with an M ...

I find that removing your foot from the go faster pedal without touching the brakes and slowing them down to 20mph normally gets the message across.

Must be a regional things as mosty chavs and the last few company car drivers take one look when sde by side at the lights and don't even bother. Frankly I don't waste the petrol either, except every so often the child in me does come out

Motorways can be a bit worrying where sitting low and to the rear of the car, vans especially do tend to drive while looking over the roof and get way too close in traffic lines.

You do the right thing, you cannot get involved with chavs and knobs who's d**ks smaller than their brains

I get it all the time. Most of the time I just want to get where I'm going. Once had a guy over took me in a 40mph limit and went round the traffic island in the middle of the road, and add the fact I pulled in to the petrol stn 30yds after that! Where I was going in the 1st place!!

Z4 does seem to be a bit of an idiot magnet, must be said :( I just wish I knew where the magnets were so I could get rid of them.

It's almost as bad as the videos on Youtube where chavs harrass Ferraris and the like. Don't they realise that people with these cars (Z4 included) really don't feel the need to race and crash on the public roads? If someone has something to proove they tend to buy awful superminis or Imprezas :p

Well they don't but I find 911s do! Its not just a chav thing...

I find that too...and as often as not they struggle to keep up

I think what I've realised is that I could upgrade to a Bugatti Veyron (OK in theory I could!) but if someone in a diesel van is willing to drive at double the speed limit, whether that be on the motorway or past the local junior school, just to "take" me then I'm ALWAYS going to come 2nd aren't I? Which is absolutely fine, really they're welcome to that trophy. It's just the bit where they're tailgating me that I find unsettling. Once they're past it's fine because I can control that strip of blacktop directly infront of me.

Aha, I've just had a thought (can you smell burning?). Maybe it's that generous space I leave infront of myself that's the problem!! They are simply falling into the "ooh a space, must fill it" train of thought. It's so simple, I'll just go out tomorrow, stop driving like such a Mary Ellen and leave an inch between myself and the chap infront. Problem solved -everybody happy. Now, where did I leave that lobotomy kit? :driving:

Thanks for all the funny comments guys

Never really had that problem, the occasional Honda type r or s2k try those luck but all in good jest.

Audi's ate mainly driven by company car owners.... So they all drive like prats....

i find the odd person driving whatever, in sport trim, and I still struggle to resist when its safe to put my foot down at light etc!

Like others say though, the more fun ones are the other sports car drivers who want to have a laugh.
