Going give this a clean tomorrow if it's dry out

do you need to remove the airbox to get it out or is undoing the jubilee hose clamp, the hose and cables enough?

Aye, had a few cutouts when braking from speed, usually coming off the motorway onto a slip road

cheers, i'd prob get a new one tbh if it does turn out to be faulty

easy job to clean it, cleaned it and changed the filter in about 15mins to take it off/put it on again, excluding the drying time
