On another note, I think summer hormones must be kicking in on this forum - it's all gone a bit 'fnarrr' in the last few days

I am suffering from "crow hormones" at the moment. Sitting outside at 5 am with a shot gun is not my definition of a fun start of the morning, but they are attacking my windows at that time (something to do with their hormones).

Managed to shoot one so far :D

Holy sh1t - remind me never to sneak up and tap the window of your car unannounced :o

Do you mean the comfort opening stuff ? Only if we have time... Could be a pain if it is pi55ing down and everyone else is just sitting in there cars waiting for us...

srhutch - you tried last time but did not work (indicator 3 times flashing). Any more thoughts if it would work?

Might use the Intravee instead to do it.

PVR sorry to say I think it was operator error last time, I forgot to run a little app that interfaces the software to the OBD port.

I've tried the Intravee one and that didn't work although it maybe because I have the triple flash activated.

Let's tie up later in the week then.

Yes, triple would be good as I got used to that now. Sod the rest and let them wait in the rain :)

Actually, I am with the Dutchman. Comfort Opening and Tripple flash would be great, if we have time. Do PVR first and we can decide then what to do.

Window goes down on unlock with a certain key press IIRC - easier to get in, especially in a tight space

Double press the open button done that on my old E46 which was great, didn't think it was possible on the Z

sure is, I'll bring both keys as I have one set for comfort and the other for selective locking.

Que ? Do I need both keys too then ? Do you need both of yours to do a demo ?

What's selective locking?

what possible advantage can there be for applying wax by hand other than being a saddo, idont know much about wax but common sense tells me that once you pay over 20 quid for wax there aint a lot of difference other than elitism and having nothing better to spend your money on. :poke:

Makes nice water beads :poke:

But agree, can't see the point of £100+ waxes.

But then if was lucky enough to own a Fezza... :(

I paid £6 quid or something for 30mil tester, the full 250mil dodo juice purple haze is £32. That is reaching my limit for cost of wax, I agree extortionate amounts of money for wax are only justified in my head for a weekend toy or very expensive car. I applied it by hand because I am a tight Scottish git (bought a tester first  ) and didn't want to waste what was left. To quote myself :

Not got a lot of wax left so decided to do a JimmyPop and use skin to make best use of what I have rather than losing a bunch in whatever applicator I use.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiment of your post, read mine properly first before gaily tossing the saddo label about :poke: :D

Oh, and for what it's worth, using skin actually put a better coat of wax on than any applicator I have used. No idea why, but it did. Will I be doing it again soon ? No, because as I said it took fecking ages

dont fret about the saddo thing, my wife thinks i'm a saddo cause i was polishing my back boxes up,, quite theraputic though, no offence intended.
