Machine Polished today....knackered!

Just did the front today.....6 hours.....ok I probably did it with too much effort and made sure every swirl has been removed. Should have used a rotary and not my DA.....but it looks great

Washed it with fairy liquid. No tar on it thankfully, so just clayed it...washed it again

Then Megs Ultimate Compound with my DA.....about 3 passes with it.

Then washed it again, with 2 bucket method, towel dry and then some AG SRP just to fill anything which I didn't catch and then two coats of Collys 476.

Job done

You shouldn't wash with fairy liquid, it contains a high salt level which can very finely scratch the paint.

I found that using a citrus snow foam, like Autofinesse and then a clay worked just as well.

Your car looks lovely, 3.5 with the Ronal wheels too, I can't stop looking at these at the moment. I think next year could be a change of Z.

Fairy is great at removing any previous products and if diluted enough will be fine.....

Thanks re the car....I put lots of work into it. It's 4 years old and 60k miles...but still looks relatively new
