The insides are all done. The cut outs are tacked back in place. Just seem welding it all together tonight. I have test fitted the tips and they look 8)

Hi Dan

It's an Mfactory helical LSD witch I think will be perfect for me  and all new either power flex or Meley bushes everywhere  what with the coil overs and new discs and pads last year. And hopefully a little calliper upgrade later on this year. The car should be ready for some track fun and for me to get to grips with her limits of grip :) and hopefully a nice big supercharger next year

Zs looking good matt, love the wheels and the front bumper mod. Looks a bit like an aero front but stands out a bit more.

Best of luck with all your work planned :)

So in other monkey news.... I am planing on changing my exhaust system. I am going to make a full proper quad conversion for my car. X pipe in the middle then a pipe either side almost straight through i will have a small silencer on each side in true penny pinching form i will be attempting to make it all myself the x pipe and the silencers!! So i am not going to do a for sale thread for my quad as i dont want to

A.put pressure on myself to get this done.
B. a price on my quad.

The reason i am changing is just i want a proper quad. If you want a cheap quad conversion let me know and it can be yours at some point.....

So as you can see its a diy job. It also has the bypass mod done.

Still new to the Z and straight 6's but isn't an x pipe for cars that are in a V formate, v6, v8 etc to smooth out the exhaust gases and increase torque?

Good meet you too mate. Go for a spin next time. Local meet that way is a good idea once yours is planted and gives you confidence. Mine too come to think, Lol. The "winter" has not been kind to the wheels? Haha I'll stay quiet on that one [emoji6]

Got a box of goodies today from Simon at c3BMW they are on ebay and have a there own site. Great guys really helpful. I told them what i wanted and they gave me various options on most parts.

Front wish bones and track rod ends. That's all the bushes arms ARB and bushes replaced at the front. All the other boxes are the bushes for a compleat rear axel overhaul. Trailing arm bush diff mounts and axel mounts I have done the rear drop links and I have a new bigger ARB + poly bushes for the rear to match the front.

The rear axel will be coming off all completely striped sandblasted and re painted. And then lovingly reassembled with new bushes and a lovely LSD witch should arrive this week. I will all so be replacing any flexible brake lines with braided ones. And if the hard lines need replacing they will get done too.

If it takes me six months I don't care I am looking forward to doing it and doing it right. I am very excited to get started :D the only problem Mrs Monkey and I have agreed I am not allowed to start until the driveway is done and the workshop is finished

Hopefully have it done so I can enjoy some sunshine with it.

Just had a text saying my LSD will be arriving today :D the bloody driveway might have to wait!!

Soooooooooooooo excited to get it all back on the road and properly aligned so she handles as it should.

Reversing on to the drive and caught the rear quarter panel on the wheelie bin :( got a small dent right by the rear light  that's another panel that will need work!! :headbang:

And my LSD hasn't turned up yet  still wasn't planing on fitting that yet.
