Machine monkeys zed

We have lots of lasers at work but i don't think they would want me using them for that. And it would cost bucks.. I can use a 1mm ball nose milling cutter and machine about 0.1mm deep i should be able to engrave it.

I am not sure what to machine it into? There is not enough room on the gear knobs not with the gar positions any way. I could machine them onto the handbrake handles but i would need to put a flat on it and i am not sure that would look good. I think my car might end up with the logo roundels  It would fit on the strutbrace. But after all the flack about those i doubt anyone will want one. Or if they did i am not sure if it worth making them legally speaking. So unless i come up with a new item??

Suggestions on postcards to the usual address :D

Its true if you make something even if its a great idea fantastic quality you still need to be protected. So then you need to pay for that. And you product price goes up and it becomes to expensive. Or you lower your profit and it becomes not worth doing. If you could mass produce and bring costs down great but then that's not a cottage industry any more.

We just need to be Chinese traders on ebay. Sorted!

Ha maybe we get an agent to sell our stuff for us from a far off untraceable country?

Have you got a link to you project? We have an autoclave at work. Its not in my workshop i don't know what they charge to use it?

I believe there's a small island somewhere in the East called Monkdos we could use.

I've posted some details about the performance of it, but I'm presently considering patenting the invention, so I can't give specific details about it, otherwise I will shoot myself in the foot with a patent.

You could put the logo instead of the lettering on the gear knob

I might knock a few up when I do the next batch of knobs. And handbrake handles and all the other stuff!!! Not enough hours in the day and all that.

Ok so I have the rears almost done they are painted and just need a little polish and on they go. Just the fronts to do now

I wish i hadn't started them if i am honest. Still half way now!! Its been very hard work and extremely time consuming still 4 wheels refurbished for £30. And i am all about cheap.

Thanks buddy they might look a little better in the pictures than in the flesh.

Yeah no time at all. Just whip them of strip the pain. A quick polish paint all done

Thanks Jonny I have not coated these yet. I am going to look into just waxing them. That way if they corrode i can polish them up again with my big drill polishing tool.

I might be making all the roundels and badges

I am so bloody impatient!! Just went to look at my wheels drying in the dining room ( Mrs Monkey not over joyed ) but I painted they yesterday now they should be dry now right??? How do I know they are not! I poked them with my bloody finger and now have my finger print on them :x

At least they will be traceable to me well one of them any way

As said I am impatient why are they not bloody dry I sprayed the Sunday!!! Did I not shake the can for long enough? Will they ever dry. Was looking forward to a snow sideways drive on my nearly illegal rubber!!
