I think your right it will never be finished!! Although I think I will be moving on to another z4 project after this is done all being well. I fancy a v8 fully caged race built but road legal coupe next. But that's probably a 10 years or so away!?

The M is great but the Z with a V8 sound track would be epic. Merry Christmas and keep up the great work Matt :driving:

Thanks buddy and too you y

Money and time holding me back. If I come into some cash it will be done sooner!!!

I zed family. So I am back on the zed pages. And after a few years away from most things car related and everything virtually BMW and z4. I am back I have plans they are medium and long term plans for my z4.

But what’s been happening for me. Some good done bad. First the good…
There are now 2 mini monkey Pia my daughter aged 5 and Ashton 2 both seem to love cars and being in them and in the garage. We are moving to a new monkey mansion with a double garage. And I got a Peugeot 205 xs (had on as a first car) it was an amazing 40th gift from the family.

The not do good I had a workshop fire and lost most of my tools in the presses. My z4 is in a sh1t state and I don’t have much of it left.

The plan is to move restock and get my workshop all back together (luckily the insurance is paying up) get my 205 back on the road for spring (minor work needed) then to spend time on the z4 chassis probably going to be most of next year. Then buy a donor car for an engine and gear box. I don’t want a normal z4 engine and I have a tight budget and I want cheap easy usable power. Sooooo
I am probably going to put a tiger amongst the pigeons. I am going to m57b30 swap with an auto gearbox. Yeah I know I am stupid

I suppose there's a first time for everything, but sometimes there's a good reason nobody has done it before.

You might not want to drive it with the roof down though!

You may be right… but you might just be wrong. So I am gonna give it a go.

I doubt you will hear the exhaust much over the turbos anyways.
