Machine monkeys zed

I haven't posted much on hear recently. So its about time for a little update. Had a modding meet with Luke mace Ben G Jonny Essex and Marius this weekend. They where all playing with there head lights but i ha to sort my quad conversion. I was never fully happy with it due to the battery box i could never position it so it was straight. And way got it fixed now so hears some pictures.
Measuring up before welding

All lined up

Please excuse the rusty crash bar. I will have to wire brush that up and coat with hammerite at some point!

So this weekend coming i hope to get the front bumper sorted. Then a few other little jobs ready for zed fest.

Loads better mate! Was impressed by your 'trained eye' to get it so level off the bat!
Made a world of difference having no time constraints hey! good work

Did make me laugh the amount of times you burnt yourself after welding though!!!

 been doing it years and its always the same!! If I had a £ every time I ad burnt myself!!

Wish I had got to stay and have pictures taken. There was a distinct lack of orange!

Quad conversion is so nice... Youre making me think twice about mine now... :) you need to remove your back box though... turn your car into 'annoy the locals level of LOUD'

Thanks Brad but I am in my 30s so the bypass is loud enough for me my friend

You're in your 30's???.... :?

Only joking mate... You're a very youthful 30-ish coming on 21 lad in my eyes!

You & your Zed MM.

Between u & brad are the two people who've been making me fiddle with what's not broke - think I can easily forgive u

Idle fingers jembo

Well next time we have a modding meet and you want anything doing. Making its a great vibe we chip in and help each other out

What MTB have you got? I have a specialised pitch its knocking on a bit now. But she is in great shap due to me not ridding much in the last few years

Great work there mr monkey, made a huge difference to how it sat previously.

I can confirm your exhaust sounds lovely. Is it just the bypass pipe that gives it the deeper idle and raspier tone higher up the rev range? Or is that in combination with removing the wadding stuff in the backbox also?

Thanks Ben it was pants before!!

Not sure to be honest I didn't take much wadding out. But I have obviously drilled a 40mm hole to get the quad pipe across.
