Mac ordered

We got a trackpad for ours and I must admit I found the magic mouse better.

They are useful if you set up your using full screen applications flick between them really quickly, gesturing is great too just check out the trackpad gesture tab in settings.

Really useful use it on my Macbook Air all the time. Switch between photoshop, lightroom, illustrator and indesign. Also you can set a specific desktop for specific apps I have my work apps set up on two, and Safari and iTunes on another so I can flick between = more productive :)

Although on my 27" iMac at work I do use the Magic Mouse but I have the gestures set up on that too.

I think that after many years of using a mouse in the right hand and a space ball in the left, the transition might be a slow one!

Haha it becomes second nature the more you use it

Useful for browsing the net as you can swipe left to go back and swipe right to go forward, same for moving through pictures on iPhoto.

Heres a vid that goes through a few features

Never really got on with the later Apple mice/pucks despite being completely happy with the single button mouse I had with a Mac SE in 1989.

I've still stayed with the mouse but got a non-Apple one that I can programme (Logitech Performance MX) to do all the functions I need in both OSX and W7.
