I keep coming back to them. I think I need one in my life (or garage) :(

Anyone want an immaculate E92 B3 Alpina? :|

Nice but out of my pay grade
Mine too Mikey, the purchase OK, but the running costs :o
For me it's the prettiest and most mental car BMW ever made and I WANT one :headbang:

Agree it's a looker, as BMWs go. 8)
Completely pointless car though  All the more reason to enjoy on a Sunday I guess. :driving:

The problem with the M6 is that it's party piece is acceleration from 100+ mph. At lower speeds it won't feel any faster than your Alpina, so unless you're moving to Germany it's a bit pointless.

I'd still have one though, in a heartbeat  just not a convertible because convertibles look wrong with more than 2 seats...

Whats not to like about they, I've always had a soft spot for them too. V8 and 560bhp, just do it

Love the look of it but what more is it going to give in reality to the Zed - yes the kids can fit in the back with the roof down until they complain its too windy.

Indeed the Mercedes E350 with the clever aero foil on the windscreen is the only four seater convertible I’ve owned that was comfortable in the back with the top down at anything above 30 mph, unfortunately it handled like a tank.

Agree, I drove one and the kids were ok in the back but as you say not exactly a sporty drive but then again meant to be a cruiser I guess

The Z4 would stay. As I do so little mileage these days and have a sensible car for trips with the family anyway, I can justify the insanity of it. :D

Just for sh*ts and giggles I asked what that dealer would give in PX for my E92. £9k!! :o :o

Alpina B3 trade values are based on the equivalent 335i. Mine has 43,000 miles, full BMW history, 1 previous owner, has had both turbos done and a new HPFP and is totally spotless inside and out.

what will WBAC offer as £9k is an insult

I am driving my M at the moment with that engine in NL, and is lovely to annoy every car that tries to just cut in front of you when the road ends. They don't really have them here so they are not aware of the power of the thing

I'd give you £9,500 - even with the wood.
I'm into the E92 for £16k, so would like as much back as possible. Another problem with Alpinas is they can take a long time to sell as they are such a niche market.

Well if you do go for it you my number plate could be for sale!

If you can change it for M6 PON, or M6 PND, or even M6 AKH I may be interested Iain :D

An alpine white F11 640D pulled out in front of me this afternoon and I couldn't help saying out loud (to myself as I was alone again) 'God I like them'. :|
