Is there a flexi in there somewhere? I'm told mine is leaking but i cannot see where it might be on the various parts diagrams I've looked at. Apparently the new one needs welding in.

Not 100% certain, but I can't remember seeing one. Is your exhaust standard OEM?

I popped it into my local Mr Tyre branch which is right across the road from my office. They also couldn't find a flexi in their catalogues so they offered to pop it on the ramp to see what's going on.
All four nuts where the manifold downpipes connect to the exhaust had completely rotted away leaving only the remains of very rusty studs holding it all together. The studs had almost totally gone as well. And it doesn't have a flexi either
So its booked in next week for them to sort it for me.
Avoid JMC Service and Repair in Sutton-in-Ashfield (BMW and Audi specialists).
