Oh yeh Kev - if you look at the base of your flap, it has a deeper hexagon shape where the new alu turner part goes in. Lucky you! Also note the pattern on the flap is the same as my upgrade part. Yours is sorted already that's why I guess you felt it looked so solid
If anyone is doing this upgrade, I would say that make sure you put enough grease on the parts and don't over tighten the rod. I went a bit ham and it actually hindered the flap's movement a little. It doensn't need a lot of force - especially if you're using loctite.
Sorry mate missed that! My kit only came with one pot. Which kit did you get? I noticed the kit from eBay/X8R had 2 pots of which one i think is the Loctite/threadlock. I just had some laying around at-home and used that.
Also for reference, I followed the install instructions from X8R (on YouTube).

Does the upgrade kit sort the flappyness? I've got maybe a cm play in mine. Also I think the diaphragm might be buggered. Should I just buy a new disa? And upgrade it?

The flappyness is probably the plastics starting to have play. Mine free-spun on the spot.
I would probably say try the upgrade/repair kit first - if it's fixed it's fixed. If it's not, then get a new disa and transfer the kit to it. Either way the kit is a good buy.
