Afternoon all

New to the family is a Frozen Grey M40i/Ivory, 3 years old but only 5.5k on the clock. Wanted to give the paint some protection and a boost, so went with the Gyeon Q2 Matte Evo kit on recommendation of the detailer who has done a few others for me. Was willing to do this myself as obviously no polishing required.

Washed and decontaminated on Friday, meaning I could go straight on with it on Saturday.

Nice easy to work, flashes quickly, wipes on clean and easy to see where you've been already. Enough in the 50 ml bottle to do the entire car generously, sills and shuts, with about half remaining (wanted surplus just to be safe).

Seems to have come up well after a day in the garage curing, will give it the obligatory 14 days before a wash, be interesting to see how well it performs. To my eye, has enhanced the metallic flake and added some richness and depth to the paint, impressed so far!

Will return and update after the first wash to review sheeting and dirt repellency!

The evo range from Gyeon is very good. Applied the Mohs Evo to my car during easter weekend. As you said, for clear coated car, I need to do more work than just decon wash.

Looks great...I had Crystal Serum Ultra applied to mine and have just purchased their C2 v3 Sealant that I am yet to apply. :driving:
