That is fantastic, this place seems to start new things for me to think about buying far too often :headbang:

i have no idea how these wheels tyres and offset combo are working without making a mess of things, yet he's adamant theirs no rub at all.....

Yea strange one  according to the stats the 10j rears would sit sweet but fronts should be out 23mm from standard 224s :o
Reps maybe ?

he says the real deal, i mean a 255 section from 19" Et 24 on the front ??? Maybe his idea of rub and my idea are different but their is no way on this planet that isn't contacting somewhere, .

if you put a 20mm spacer on the stock wheel that would rub, and this wheel is larger all around.... hmm.... f

Hadn't thought of them being reps & by no means an expert on alloys but just seeing offsets and them on the original car suggested too big :|

Has he spacered the rears ? inside face would be 22mm closer to struts & that's a fkn lot
Just can't see how the fronts wouldn't be out of the arch
Numbers are 9x19 (ET29) +10x19 (ET40), Style 437M

Unless he's running stretched 225/235 fronts, but the pics don't look it, so they should protrude... so dont know.
Maybe he's super cambered the fronts since the pics.
Has he ripped out the arch linings? Running coilovers with no suspension travel at all?

Maybe he's done a rear wheel steering mod :D

New pic, rears are cool, but the front - that's really pushing it... And needs a spoiler delete

There's no way that those fronts don't rub. And I'd bet the rears probably rub in the back of the arch as well. Unless he drives it like Miss Daisy... Which he obviously doesn't as he needs that huge spoiler :D

They do look gorgeous though

:D agreed look good but not sure they would cope with a UK B road

Tbh, can't stop looking these wheels, the bmw specs as Mr Wilks says are:
"Numbers are 9x19 (ET29) +10x19 (ET40), Style 437M"

The rears with spacers are ok, but could there be any possible way to get the fronts on? How about stretching a 225/35 tyre on the front with max camber?

Beedub - how do these ET figures compare to the cromodoro m3 wheels you had?

Front tyre in pic isn't stretched & the wheel face sits "plumb" or vertical so doesn't appear that camber has been massively adjusted
Maybe they're half rep half OEM :?

Mhmm, quite possibly

They look fantastic but the fronts must rub. I have three sets of wheels (including OEM 224s) and all three need different spacer sizes to clear the front suspension uprights without rubbing the outer arch liner. The sweet spot where there is no rubbing at either the inboard or outboard edges leaves a total clearance of under 10mm. Also, this is dependent on running a little more negative camber and careful choice of tyre sizes. These wheels would definitely rub the outer arch liner with vertical travel of the suspension, and rub the back of the brake cooling duct in the bumper with any lock. As for the BGW, it would be fine on a track but look ridiculous on the road.

Hmm, that's a shame... How to get some wheels for a trial fitment without buying a set first :(
