Have to say in the metal close up it blows you away , the wingmirrors are pure design artistry

Yours for £62k

Gorgeous.
Although for £62k I'd be buying something else in all honesty.

15.2 mpg!! and I thought my old V8 M3 was thirsty!

Would love a blast out in one :driving:

Did you see the fuel gauge ? He reckon,s enough to get him the 15 miles back to work tomorrow :D They can only get free petrol for testdrives so he,s asked me to go in tomorrow lunchtime & he,l blag some more juice to take me out , tight as a coat of paint those salesmen

Yes I did spot that  I have been trying to convince myself that this one will be loads more fuel efficient than my old one just in case I fancy one in a few years...maybe not then!

Nah Lee, you need a 991 for that - during my running in I am getting between 32 - 35 mpg 8)

There'll be mega deals on these new in a month or two once the first adopters are in their cars.

A piece of kit though. £10k more than a 35iS in base form (which includes Nav Professional as standard).

That sounds good to me buddy

...except that 'running in' is a pretty key phrase, so you're not driving t the way you want to drive it, or the way it deserves to (should ?) be driven

Official figures for mixed driving is 30, so still pretty good I would say.

I saw a very black M3 in Brixton tonight (paint, wheels, tail pipes, window tints). It looked a little like someone had modified a standard 3 series - it lacked a consistent fluidity from front to rear. I've yet to see an M4 but the rear end in the pictures above looks a little dodgy...

price is now at the point where i couldn't consider this new imo then again al cars are going the same way really so maybe a silly point to make.... plus for the first time, the 4 door version looks much better i think, can't put my finger on it but this just doesn't do it for me at all... saw a 1m today and thought , WOW... lovely car!!

These cars are stupidly fast and very special. I hope prices do tumble and that some decent deals start to appear, as I'm not at all tempted at £62k, and not even sure I could afford it. Right now it's just not special enough to change for, at that price.

Still, waiting to hear what Eastern would offer me for my zed. I'm sure it'll make me laugh if nothing else...

I'm with beedub, i actually prefer the M3 now - it's more beefy (looks normal, with wider arches) rather than the M4 being just.. wide.

Sadly i think now i'm attached to the Z4 driving position with a long bonnet and sat on the rear wheels, i dont like it when i drive any kind of 'normal' coupe. Not bad for the money in the overall A-Z of new cars, but id never pay 60k for it, that money would get me most of an F430, or a decent aston/porsche.

Like it, looks very nice (i couldn't live with the colour though - sort of baby diarrhoea)
