M4 in Austin Gold (pisspoor paint name/epic car )

The colour is very bold! But i have to say having seen them in the flesh i prefer the saloon too... No sure why either... But the rear 3/4 of the 4 series seems strange to me.

Well my pal managed to blag the M4 again tonight this time with some fuel in it :D so ive just been out for a thrash in it .
Not sure on the stopstart caper , a bit annoying for me but everything else i could live with
The heads up speedo & nav were a particularly nice touch
Supremely comfortable on the A roads & once on the Mway it was like a epileptic ferret when i gassed it
The noise is pure theatre & Hi-fi is a waste .
Listening to it head of up the road i can only describe the noise as Ducatiesque . Just awesome

I thought the noise was a bit farty to be honest when I drove the M3.

Very fast though. Goes from a exec saloon to a racer in the blink of an eye! Very big though!!

The noise was different in the cabin to the pavement . No idea but are these the ones where throttle noise is piped into the cabin :?
Behind the wheel noise was kind of distant thunder combined with a feeling that you were hurtling towards whatever was in front of you at alarming rate .
The noise as the car drove away leaving me watching was totally different & best described as raucous & not dissimilar to a superbike  nothing like a 911 Sports exhaust of a neighbour
Felt like a car you could tour Europe in with 4 people at 150mph for hours on end , or until you needed fuel which wouldnt be hours :P

Love the car love the colour, but i agree with others that it doesn't stand out enough from a normal 4 series Msport like the old E90 did. Obviously to most of us on here we can.

Ihad to point out the differences to my brother in law the differences.
