Bit of fun, the E46 Touring looked like a serious idea and the E36 Compact might have been a handful!

........ but an E30 pickup because "they 'needed' something to haul parts quickly", that's what the team told the bean counters anyway :lol:

Thank goodness they didn't sell those. I have enough trouble trying to overtake builders in derv arse Transits & Hilux. :lol:

Love the E36 M3 Compact and the E46 M3 Touring - BMW, why didn't you?

Hartge did make an E46 Compact with the S54 engine from an M3, and also a 5 litre V8 1 Series - probably only one of each though given the prices! :lol:

Someone posted a link recently to an E46 316 Compact with an S54 fitted that was on Ebay - very tempting!

That E46 M3 Touring looks pretty good!! That would have been a good seller I reckon.
