M3 V8 Calipers & Discs

good morning UK!

i search informations about this set up on front and/or rear axle for a Z4M

i find one Z4M with M3 front dics and performance caliper.

possible to make OEM caliper?

I don't know if it's been done before but if you can get custom calliper brackets it should be possible.

If you can get all the parts at a very cheap price it might be worth the trouble. If not just get a used big brake kit from a forum. AP Racing kits are frequently for sale on http://www.cslregister.com/
 
the answer is simply: 250€ for 4 calipers and 4 discs (used but cheaper!)

and an other question, "master cylinder" is ok for an upgrade big brakes?
 
With those particular callipers, i have no idea. :( With big brake kits specifically made for the Z4M it's OK. But of course they were designed with the Z4M's master brake cylinder size in mind.
 
For €250 its worth a try!

Otherwise Oliver just try braided line (durites aviation) like Goodridge, some DOT 5 brake fluid and performance brake pards like Pagid. The total upgrade including labour should be arounf €700.00 max. and makes a huge difference;

OEM disks on the Z4M are pretty good actually and stand up well to a brake upgrade. My set up works well on track all day and I think GA41 has a similar set up.

I had that setup but minus the really aggressive pads, mine were minor upgrades than stock but my brake fluid was top of the line. I still wanted more stamina and better brake feel so i now have a big brake kit. I was very happy with my previous setup but i really wanted even better endurance than could be offered by the stock system, even with better fluid.
 
You will need to make carrier brackets that hold the calipers. This will require a lot of test fitting and custom work.
 
it's too difficult for calipers....

actually, i have Goodridge front lines, RBF 600 and EBC Yellow front; but always the same default when i drive fast: BRRR, BRRR, vibrations.... :thumbsdown:

i'ts much better like oem, but BRRR, BRRR :D

for the weather, it's always sun, little bit too hot, 37°C on sunday, thats better next month!

Truc tout con: essaille de faire re équilibrer tes roues et faire re-aligner la geometrie.

sinon tu pourrais avoir un probleme de suspenssion...
