M3 to Z4 - The bleeding obvious

I wrote about my first outwardly-looking impressions of the Z v my M3 'vert - but it began to strike me that the Zed draws way more attention than my E46 M3. As I pointed out to an M3 forum member who noted the only attention his red M3 coupe got was from spotty-faced youths - the ladies prefer 'verts.

Well, it appears that everyone prefers the Z's styling - and the ladies prefer Merlot to boot :D

Its a driveable work of art (just need to get the doors to open!)
 
A Z4 definitely attracts more attention - in a good way!

I suppose to non-car people an M3 looks like any other 3 Series whereas the Z4 being a 2 seat sports car is much more distinctive - even to the non-car people.
