M3 more economical than Prius!

Interesting. The M3 has a gas guzzler tax (thanks to our liberal friends in Congress).

That git, "Lurch" has the worst hair on television.
 
Who, Clarkson? Or May? Or Hammond? They're all contenders for "the worst hair on television" award. :evil:
 
I like Clarkson. He is funny and can take a joke as well as dish it out. He does not take a hissy fit when someone picks on him unlike some people I know. :roll:
 
He is a big oaf. The kind of guy that after I had a few pints I would usually stick my fingers in his beer lick them and see what he does.

Finally some facts the pop media seems to conveniently ignore:

Fact 1: Hybrids have a horrible carbon footprint and do far more harm to the environment than a traditional gas powered vehicle. Unless the cost of replacement batteries comes down significantly, I am not so certain that you will even come out ahead in total $/mile drive either.

Fact 2: "Its not what you drive, but how you dive it" I always laugh at the Prius' running down the highway at 75+ with their owners thinking that they are being economical
 
People back home was shocked at the highway miles I got. I said yeah, i only did about 75-80, then told them what i'd get to a tank in city driving on an average week then they understood. My dad said it pretty good when he said, no matter what type of car (car, truck, suv) and the size of the gas tank (or tanks) they almost all get around 400 miles traveled to the tank.
 
It is true it is all down to how you drive it. I find in smaller engined cars I drive it much harder and the fuel consumption just ends up being terrible. Thats my excuse for having an M anyways :lol:
As for clarkson I cant comment on the guy I have never met him. I think his TV persona will be really over hyped though, thats what his job is and love him or hate him it obviously works.
