That does look nice with the roof off, my brother in law will be happy because he loves his E93 M3, I am in the camp of the M3 is supposed to be a drivers car so whipping the roof off goes against the ethos a little for me...they are great for posing about in though plus the noise enhancement with the roof off isn't to be sniffed at, his sounds awesome with the roof down in complete contrast to my old Coupe.
 
Ye definitely I'm in the same camp, I do like the M3 tho I would love to have a 4 door again! An E91 M3 is looking attractive! But do love the new one, just have to wait 3-4 years lol!
 
That does prove how much better a manual can sound against a DCT you seem to lose some impact between gear changes...you can tell that its got the turbo`s from the sound although for me I was never that impressed with the sound of my V8 M3 either...great induction noise but pretty flat from the exhaust for a V8.
