Anyone fitted these to their Z4M?

I'll be shortly be removing the silencers to get the bypass mod done and thinking of fitting them to match the look with the new noise :) I've measured my mates E46 M3 exhaust and they too are 66mm wide with a 10mm gap between the tips, so I see no reason why they wouldn't fit.

Not cheap though... £150 :o

By coincidence, I considered buying these very exhaust tips a couple of years ago. I saw them on Pistonheads and emailed the vendor to see if they would fit my ///M. He was unsure but thought not. Have you considered contacting MachineMonkey about making you a set of tips?

They do look really nice, not £150 nice, more like £70 nice (but then I'd only need 2 of them)

The outer diameter of the M tips are 64mm with a 4mm gap between them, these euro tips are over 70mm so would not fit in the standard mounting points as, even if touching together, the centres would be way to separated to rivet on.

Shame, I looked into these exact tips a few months back before seeking out MM

I measured mine at 66mm with a 10mm gap, which is identical to my mates E46 M3

disclaimer - was done with a measuring tape :)

Just been and measured again and I was wrong in the first post

60mm ID with a 2mm wall thickness giving an overall OD of 64mm. 10mm gap is subjective I'd go for 8-9mm to be safe as it seems different on each side and front to back.

That being the case you could go c72mm OD max before they touched where the euro tips are 76mm OD

Thanks for that, disappointing though :-(

But not as disappointing as it would be after splashing out £150

Indeed, hold fire until MM is up and running, he knocks out some real tasty tips. Have a look at the link in the above thread - although for some reason I no longer have permission
