has anyone made a gts replica? as in orange paint, splitters etc?

surely quite easy to make a regular e92 almost the same as the gts?

change the suspension, brakes, exhaust, slight tune and rip out the seats? not much more to it is there?
When I was looking to buy mine I looked around a gts in Scunthorpe I couldn't stretch to the £100k they were asking for it though!! Quite like the orange colour

i had a look at one in swindon dick lovett but id just come out of a 458 that id been allowed to rev a little so i was a bit blase about the gts, i wouldnt buy a real one but surely its not too hard to make a regular m3 just as eye catching

I am not surprised you were a little blase after the 458! Awesome car! I agree I am sure it wouldn't take much to make a standard M3 look as eye catching :)

I just made the switch too, awesome machine my comparison review is in my other thread. Overall you do lose some of the specialness but it's made up for with all the other benefits and the suspension actually works.
Just read your review daz, a cracking summary on what is certainly a great (if thirsty) allrounder  enjoy :driving:

It does go to show that while ppl have moved on with their cars, ppl still stick around the forum....when I get my next car in two years i wonder if ill just end up using this forum just as much?

There should be a chat area for ppl who've moved on car wise but are emotionally attached to the forum :poke:

I agree totally Woots  this forum is so great :) the people on it are awesome imo & I spend more time on here than I do on any others even though I own a reps car now instead of a proper sports car!

I am pleased I am still made welcome :)

Yah that was a hint for you to get off this forum and join m3cutters....

Why is it even called that anyway? It's just....hairdresser sounding?

I know I don't understand the name too! I still haven't joined that forum...but if you want me to go then I will do as I am told! :poke:

Thanks folks food got thought ! The m3 is a stunning all rounder but after sleeping on it I think will keep my 335d as the M3 is Not different enough. Simalar styling & interior & half the mpg. I scratched the itch & now might think about just changing my zed now for a M ! Hate being off work, it could cost me a fortune ! Lol :driving:

Good idea, residuals are better too - although hunting for one is an absolute mission...

In terms of offers on the M3 you should be able to get a £10k deposit contribution and 0% finance. This is raping the residuals on used models :/
