I tested the new M3 and it's fantastic, maybe my next car down the line, but it's no Z4. Just missing something in the driver experience for me at this moment in time. And the interior was a bit bland compared to the new Z4's.

not that keen on it from that image, maybe its the colour? looks soo bland.

Since I had one on loan I appreciate these a lot more. I got a chance to throw it around, and did a quick run over to the 'Ring for a weekend, and I could see it had a LOT of potential.... and that engine....!!

They will be available in April on this side of the pond and can be pre-ordered now... 8)

Just like breaker, the M3 could end up being my next car, but I also am very concerned about missing that Z driving experience, one the M3 cannot duplicate with the same personality.

I think I like it :)

I wonder how much fuel the M3 can save with Auto Start-Stop and other EfficientDynamics features. Why can't BMW put Auto Start-Stop on E89 then?

I bought E89 instead of a faster, cheaper and better equipped E92 (325i M Sport) all because of the low driving position and its beautiful roadster body. E92 is very good driver car, but both exterior and interior look boring, even M Sport models.

Auto Start -Stop ...???? WTF is it?

Very cool, and a possible pain at time I'm sure. My E89 shuts off fuel going down hills ...does that count? :D
