Just need to clean and polish the underside of the bonnet to match the condition of the rest of the car

You got any sound clips of that exhaust?

I have at idle - not got any of it driving but it pops, bangs and burbles on the overrun amazingly!

Nice! I am looking at exhaust options in the near future for my 2.5Si, what did you have done is it a fully custom system manifold back or ?

Nice  I would have preferred it a bit further out towards the perimeter, but seeing the inside shot, easy to tell why you didn’t do that. Good job. Bet you see hot air escaping from there.

A controversial mod to some I’m sure… but M3 vents professionally installed finishing of the M-Performance black look. The heat venting after a hard run is amazing 🤩
Spotted outside Tesco's on Castle the other day really caught my eye.. Looks the dogs danglies Andy  . Even though I've now sold my Zed I still slow down to admire other Zeds. I believe you know my nephew Matty Davies (small world eh?). Keep an eye out for my Zed replacement. Will be taking it over to Mike at the ZS soon to have a few minor jobs done to it. :driving:

Ahhh got ya - yeah a very clean install, the body-shop made templates and put them on first, measured everything for symmetry, then cut them out, chamfered the edges, rust protected them and then installed/bonded the vents

Location was debatable but wanted to mimic the M3 as much as possible and of course the bracing does get in the way ha! but yes the hot air escaping is quite a sight to see especially when cold and you see two streams coming out - with the exhaust sound its almost like it's snorting!

I did have a full 3" cat back stainless fitted from Gravity Performance but it was such a bad fit I sent it back and just had the backbox deleted and then custom pipes installed from each dual exit that feed each twin exhaust

Ha to be fair that dirt is due to the bonnet being off at the body-shop! This is how it normally looks

Ha I think you saw it in the main Tesco's once too!

Convertible looks great! 8)

Yes you're right. The awesome M wheels caught my eye, really suit the car. Had to sell the zed as it was not practical for our needs and really don't get on with manual gearboxes anymore. My Zed now resides in Cardiff. Really happy with the replacement. 3.0L M sport Auto. Not a head turner like the Zeds are but a lovely drive nonetheless. See you out and about

I had this 428i twin power turbo M Sport before the Z (you can see the theme ha!) and absolutely loved it so think you’ve got a great car there!

+1 from me. Really suits the overall look of the car. Having experienced first hand the temperature of the engine bay after putting the Z through its paces, I admire the functional aspect of it just as much, if not more, as the visual aspects.

Like your previous mods, this was well thought out and well executed. Great job
I guess my only question is - what's next????
