Well Guys

After seeing this thread , http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=33289

I kinda feel in love with M3 alloys on a Zed looking at the pics , I have a couple of worries, running 19" alloys worries me a little as the roads around the cotswolds are shocking, I think 18 are fine on the ride etc was wondering peoples ideas on this on 19" alloys for ride comfort etc.

I was wondering if 18" M3 alloys would look to small?

What would I get for My M-Sport MV2 alloys with brand new tyres at the back and stacks of tread at the front , not RTF altought alloys are fine not perfect condtion

Also is there a pic of a coupe in my colour with m3 alloys on?

Just wondering on people thoughts :?

I like the look of those, nice

As for 19" over 18" I haven't noticed a difference changing up with ride quality etc .

polished m3 19s look the business, got me dreaming about them now. mmmm.........

I know they look sweet , great price for the rims but another 600 quid for rubber :( make a "grand" job. Not sure Mrs V would go for that! :|

There's a Sterling Grey zed in Dundee on 19" chrome M3 alloys. It looks amazing. Don't think he's a forum member.

The car looks great. Haven't seen close up enough to know if it's been lowered.

If the tyre price doesn't put you off - go for it

I love them - the way they fill out the arches is awesome. Really don't understand why it didn't come out the factory with a wheel option like that. I agree with above - buy the wheels now and rubber later if you can afford it

But genuine m3 wheels won't fit the standard z4... They will stick out well beyond the arches!

Are you thinking about 18" reps in the same style?

Well yeah I was considering this as an option my concern was would it fill the arches? would even the 18" M alloys not fit then I wonder? so would have to go down the Rep route. I feel the MV look great and do fill the arches. I do not want to lower my car so was a little concerned about 19" alloys looking a bit out of place.

Would the price for my current wheels be around 350-400 then?

18 z4m alloys fill the arches nicely and although they stick out by about 1mm at the rear it will pass the MOT

Depends on what tyres but i would have thought 350 is a decent price

Thanks for the info , such a shame just replaced the rears that was best part of 300 quid alone... think I may need to play the waiting game for the right set at the right price as most of the alloys I have seen need refurbs and tyres...
