I do like, but the list price of that will be staggering I'm sure, and would leave me scratching my head.

54k euros apparently. For what IMHO looks fairly ordinary especially in recession white and peppered with M badges. I'm also quite amused at the idea of cloth 'lightweight' non electric seats as an option. BMW seem to have taken a hint from all the stripped out editions of the supercars that cost £20k extra for less car... Genius!

I will stick with the base model if it means I have to sit on cloth seats! I still cant help but love these as a package though I think they would be so good as a daily driver. :driving:

Not cheap, but I do like the way it looks and the way it goes. Would be a great daily.

Every review is basically saying its a ballistic everyday car. Autocar today.. Evo also put a vid up of it destroying the new Seat Coupra

We looked at one of these a couple of weeks back. Couldn't get our heads around the rear roofline/window lines and parked next to a 4er coupe it looked 'wrong'.

We then compared it to a stock M135i and were left with the impression that the 2er is just an exercise in filling a model void that didn't need filling. Our money would go on the M135i without the WTF sticky-on silly bits. The facelift 1er will further add to the thought that there is no point buying the 2er :)
