Hi all

Just wanted to share my latest update.

I fitted the 437M today -

9” Fronts ET29 with 225/35
10” Rears ET40 with 255/35

Both Kumho Ecsta PS91.

The above tyre sizes do look ok but don’t offer much rim protection (I’m not going near any curbs!!). There’s no rubbing but I’m on BC Coilovers with CSL geometry.

First drive and they feel good - these are a lightweight forged wheel which is why I wanted them.

I’ll update here as I learn more about the wheels, tyres and setup :thumbsup:50DAF89E-46F8-449F-8F1C-BA252B080471.jpegAE054E36-5869-4AB4-B425-42989C563FC2.jpeg76D7E996-CC51-4393-9F33-2C407B0D2427.jpeg

Thanks both!

Just want a dry day so i can give the car a proper clean, the new tyres a gentle ragging and can muck about with the suspension!

Small update:

1) Really enjoying the Kumhos. They’ve inspired confidence and not left me wanting. But ultimately my car only has 218 hp so really I’m operating well below what they were designed for. Hoping to do some track days to really test them later in the summer once my mate has finished rebuilding his GTA. At £400 for the 4, they’re definitely great value.

2) I want to fettle the front end slightly from a ‘looks’ perspective - ie. shave 3-5MM off the mating face of the wheel just to reduce poke slightly.

3) I should have gone with 235/35 on the front. I’m confident it would have fitted and would have looked a little less stretched on the wheel. Rears are spot on.

That looks really good with those wheels on it. 8)

I have the same wheels on my F82 M4 and I'm a really big fan of them. :)

What surprised me was the M4C wheels that followed them were heavier! Seemed illogical.

I’m settled with these wheels now - won’t be changing for a while now I think

Hi,
I have a Brembo kit installed on my Z4M and want to upgrade to the 437M wheels also.

My Brembo kit needs a 10mm spacer on the 224M wheels to clear. What is the spacing between the spokes and the brake in your front setup?

:?

Snap, have them on my F83 and they look really nice - better than the comp wheels anyway

Your car sits really well on those wheels.

I fitted a set of Kumho Ecsta P71s to my Z4 in 2021 and have been really pleased with them, and the full set only cost £400 delivered!

Hi, sorry for the delay.

In answer to your question, there’s LOADS of room. At its tightest (near the centre) it’s about 30MM. At the meaty part of the calliper it’s nearer 50MM.

Thanks for that info  , I am more confident that it will fit!

tried a set on my M today, these are too tight when tightened up, rubbing the caliper. It would probably need a 3/5mm spacer to work for me.

in terms of weight, I weigh both stock 224 and the 437m front. the weight was surprisingly similar. both are around 21.6/7 kg with tires.
the 437m did have the stock tyre size of 255/35. so going down in size it would have a little bit of weight advantage.

Was that a standard M calliper? Front?

Interesting, i have so much clearance on mine but it is an SI

**Ignore me! I just re-read your previous posts! Brembo kit installed  **

Yes, so in the end i used Bola FLE 19s which works well without any spacers and they are around 2kg lighter overall with 235/19 front and 255/19 rear
