Hello all
Mates offering me 2 front 135i 4pot calipers

Anyone actually know if would be a straight fit for my M?
Ta in advance

Just brackets and hoses from somewhere like MS.Raceline

^no, those are for the 6 pot calipers, which are fitted on a e82 chassis. (I use those calipers too, front&rear 6/2 setup)
If he's talking about 4 pots, that means he's talking about a F20 chassis, and those calipers are bracketless! :o They just have 2 lugs.
Buying brackets for those would be useless I think.
So if you want to fit those, you'll be looking at custom machining, if possible (or safe) at all. Definately not a bolt on bracket job.

If they're really cheap you could experiment on them, but I recon a lot of 1 series owners would love a pair so I imagine your friend still wants a considerable amount for them. If so, you can better look out for 135i 6 pot calipers+brakets or something like an affordable D2 BBK set

Another option is 996 Brembo calipers which brackets are readily available for.

They are 4 pot all round though.

Vr oh okay not that silly

But I'd change discs at same time i guess

Big Bucks ref 996 calipers?

I worked it out to be about £1k for calipers, brackets, hoses and pads
Where did you get them from buddy and were brackets off shelf for them ?
Ta in advance

I was put off by the price so decided against it for now at least.

Calipers off ebay
Brackets from rallyroad.com
Don't remember where I found the lines.

Then rear all off to be powder coated so once that's done I'll sort M out
Buy given me great ideas
So thank you

OK update
6 pot fronts and 2 pots are the rear ones awaiting pics
Are these ones a bracket and braided hoses job ?
