After the wife bought a magnolia tree for my birthday & I had to buy a present for myself to get over that (the Zed).... I thought let’s make sure am not disappointed at Xmas..

The 46-000033’s just arrived by courier, fitting Monday along with Rogue Engineering RTAB’s & RTAL’s...

Currently hidden at a secret location - Am starting to really understand what women get out of retail therapy

Then a full alignment at Boss Racing.. happy days

Be interested to hear what you think of the b12’s

If they make half the difference the B6’s made to my old 3.0SE, I’ll b well chuffed

Ask for a corner balance at boss.

You can't corner balance suspension like this.

... but you can test it in between the bike testing when somewhere’s as empty on a Monday as this ;@)

In that it's non adjustable (and specifically for corner weighting not height adjustable), yes.

Just had this very conversation with Boss Racing while my m8 was talking to them... only really applicable to coilovers.

So,

1. the B12’s are fitted, taken out a large part of the crashiness, E46 M3 CSL setting alignment planned for next week... so will wait for the shakedown results then.

2. CDV delete completed... know some say not much difference on the //M, though with mine coupled to the vibratech mounts is now awsome, almost to the point it’s a normal gearbox!!!

3. Updated Rouge Engineering RTAL’s & RTAB’s fitted... so have the old set of street RE RTAB’s which the guy said were as good as new available - will post a separate FS thread plus pics if anyone interested, £40 posted to mainland UK

That all while I worked remotely has been a great few days...

Great and Swift progress Jem, hope you enjoy the B12s!
Can't say I'm not jealous, your car will feel great I'm sure after all that.

Might be yours one day...

Just advised insurers of revised suspension... that’ll be £11.20 more sir...

Booked for full alignment tomorrow, but not with Boss Racing who didn’t really appear interested nor sufficiently knowledgable about the special tools needed for rear adjustments.

Called my old Z4 3.0 Indy near where I used to live... when you hear ‘do you want road or track spec E46 M3 CSL settings for your Z4M & what part of the handling do you want to improve?’, kinda makes you think why the Frak did I even think about going anywhere else. He’s been racing M3’s for years, sold one race car that subsequently got purchased by RedBull Racing... only to get a call from them to say please come help us manage it. The geometry tweaks (& requested mechs) he did to my old 3.0 never 100% cured the tramlining, but made under/oversteer almost non existent.

A real back street workshop, will post a few pics & let u know how I get on...

Can you possible let me know if you are using b6 or b8 shocks ? Have the eibach springs already and wanted to make it a complete b12 kit .

How’s the ride ? Any more feed back on it ?

Thanks

Am pretty sure the B12 kit uses B6 shocks, though as always the inter web chatter in some places say this kit uses the innards of the B8’s. Don’t know what to believe sometimes!!!!!

Well, it’s E46 M3 CSL road spec setup day today... fingers x doesn’t turn out to be a pile of poo

As you’ll see from the pics, a bit tight, backstreet style though couple of interesting things in the car park, plus Martyn & frndz BM Brands lap times.

Anyone want to guess what the black car in the 3rd picture is... PVR would guess straight away

The B12 comes with B8s for non M models, B6s for the M, as they don't make B8s for the Z4M for some reason.
