I bought the whole entire brake kit with carrier and all but the 330's rear end uses a different hub where its location is "closer" to the outside as oppose to mine closer "inward" also the parking brake on the 330 is bigger...much bigger by about 1 inch or so....so even if I got it to fit, thhere won't be any e-brake
rear brake already did much of braking, more so than the front before(feeling of car pulling you back) ...now front's doing more of the braking
I don't like the rear but I can't help it. I believe the z4 3.0 is the same way so there is really no upgrade...
but like I said, the rear works very well so no need to upgrade
wow!!! i also have a 2.5i like yours and im interested to do this conversion as well, what are the parts needed aside from the rotors? can i reuse the stock calipers? and are those parts from an e46 330 coupe or sedan? thanks!!!!
do you really feel a difference in braking power? i would think given the larger rotor, you have more rotational mass which translates into slower initial acceleration and longer stopping time. plus you went from drilled to plain faced..
