M Wheel Question

Afternoon zedders

Just purchased this M Sport Steering wheel (non multifunction) to replace my standard Z wheel which is also non multifunction.

I've treated it to some Autoglym leather cleaner, and leather balm and its come up beautiful. It's sooo much thicker than the standard wheel, which is too thin and slips through my fingers too easily. I love the feel and look of the M wheel.

Going to attempt to fit soon, are there any good guides around? I have already searched, and found the guide for replacing with a MF M Wheel, but I really need a simplified version as there's a lot more wires and steps involved in that one. I have no idea what the 2 cables pre attached to the wheel are (close up in pic3). Are these for the air bag? Or do I reuse existing airbag cables?

Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Looks like you have only part of the airbag connecting line, I had to get a replacement recently as the earth wire had broken away from the multi pin connector, cost me about £18 if I remember rightly. Part 6 below is what you require

Shouldn't you be able to reuse the wires and connectors already in place with the old wheel rather than buy new ?
