M vs. non-M tyre profiles - mixing?

Would there be any handling or safety problems by running 224 front wheels with 225/45 r18 tyres and 224 rears with 255/35 r18 tyres (rather than 255/40 r18)?

Run your combos through one of the tyre calculators and see the differences. One is very close, other out a few %

No handling or safety, but speedo and gearing will be off 4%
